EMILY GUY was voted #1 mom by her two children for 13 years in a row (though oddly, only as #2 by her husband), and won the coveted “class clown” award in her senior year of high school. She has over 25 years of experience bringing joy to the workplace. In her breakout role as “software engineer” at Lucasfilm, she helped her team bring wonder and magic to moviegoers (117 movies!) and gamers (16 games!), around the globe for 13 years. She’s made legal compliance “fun” as a Technical Program Manager at Google for the last 10 years, while making sure the company stays on the straight & narrow when it comes to global laws and regulations. With the mantra that “all business is personal”, Guy builds teams to solve really hard problems, and keeps things fun through her charm, wit, and an extensive backlog of dad jokes and gifs.
