Julie Lane

JULIE LANE is head of social impact operations for Cisco. She is responsible for translating the company’s vision for social justice into actionable plans and programs, including managing a $35 million enterprise wide social justice budget. She was instrumental in the creation of Cisco’s Inclusive Future and Strategy Action Office, which was the umbrella organization for the company’s unique pairing of diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts with social justice and inclusive communities. In 2020, she helped launch the company’s Social Justice Beliefs and Actions, a set of six belief statements that were brought to life through 12 priorities designed to deliver on Cisco’s purpose of powering an inclusive future for all. Lane was selected for this work based on her extensive background leading global teams to excel in operations, quality, and customer satisfaction.
