NEDA CVIJETIC is currently J&J’s global head of R&D for robotics and a member of the J&J MedTech Surgery leadership team. In this role, she is responsible for driving innovation and pipeline strategy and execution for J&J’s robotics R&D program across J&J’s Surgery business. Cvijetic has built and scaled transformative AI, software, and automated robotics systems for the past two decades. She joined J&J from Stellantis, where she served as SVP – head of artificial Intelligence and automated driving. Previously, Cvijetic held several product and engineering leadership roles at NVIDIA, Tesla, and NEC Labs America, and served as an adjunct professor of electrical engineering at Columbia University in New York City. Cvijetic is a recipient of MotorTrend Group’s inaugural Software Defined Vehicles (SDV) Innovators Award. She holds a PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Virginia, has more than 30 granted U.S. patents, and is an author of peer-reviewed conference and journal publications.
