Priyanka Rao

PRIYANKA RAO is an impact-driven product manager who delights in using technology to tangibly improve people’s lives. Although she majored in electrical engineering during her undergrad at Stanford, she chose to pursue product management as a career in order to leverage her personal strengths and reconcile her love of technology with her interests in business, strategy, and UX. After graduation, she drove key features across the core technology stack, cloud platform, analytics, and security product areas at Workday. Her long standing passion for healthcare eventually led her to Roche, where she now builds bioinformatics software for NGS applications that can be used for research, and eventually, for patient diagnostics and monitoring. Outside of work, she regularly dedicates herself to volunteering with animals and teaching herself dance, psychology, and new languages.  She lives in the Bay Area with the love of her life, her 3.5 year old german shepherd Hero. @roche
