Wendy Petka

WENDY PETKA currently serves as Vice President of Intellectual Property at Horizon Therapeutics USA, Inc., and has enjoyed a 23-year career in both corporate and law firm settings. During her tenure in law, she has been engaged in all aspects of protecting innovation throughout the product pipeline, including leading efforts to protect patent and trademark portfolios of early, mid and late-stage therapies, and working closely with cross-functional teams to bring safe products to our patients.  Prior to her in-house counsel roles, Petka worked at Fish & Neave LLP while earning a Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law.  She holds a PhD in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Massachusetts, and earned a BS  in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics from Chatham College, Pittsburgh, PA.
